Seen a role that you like the look of?

We encourage you to explore as much about the role as you can, then to apply through our website. Our online application is simple to complete and was designed to gather basic background information about yourself, and depending on the role you’re applying for, there might be additional key questions.

Once we have received your application, we will cross-check it to ensure it matches the candidate specification. We will let you know next steps usually around the closing date for the application.

If you meet the requirements of the role, we will invite you for a first stage interview. This will either be face-to-face at one of our offices, or alternatively will be held virtually by video call.

This structured interview will be based on the essential and desirable skills that we are looking for. It also gives you the chance to talk about your skills, experience and what attracted you to the role.

This is your chance to show off your best work and give examples from your career to date that demonstrates the competencies we are looking for. It is also a good idea to ask us questions so you can understand the company and role in more detail.

If we think that you are a good fit for the role after your first interview, we will ask you to attend a second stage interview.

This will usually be face-to-face at one of our offices, but again might be held virtually by video call.

Very rarely will we ask you to attend more than two interviews.

After we conclude each round of interviews, we will decide if we are going to take you forward to the next stage, or if we want to offer you the role after the final stage.

We will inform you as soon as possible after your interview, usually in no more than five working days.

Our Talent Acquisition team will either call or email you to give feedback on the entire process. We always endeavour to give you personalised, constructive, honest, and useful feedback.

We use a partner company to carry out our referencing checks. Soon after receiving your offer of employment, we’ll email you a link so that you can setup an online profile for referencing.

If we think you might be the right candidate for the role, but we require further information, our Talent Acquisition team might give you a quick 10–15-minute call to ask a few informal questions.

This isn’t part of the formal interview process but gives us the opportunity to gather enough information to decide whether to take you forward to interview, but also gives you the chance to ask any questions you may have.

For certain roles you might be asked to attend an assessment centre. These are usually for half-day events where you will attend with other candidates and participate in a combination of activities to help us assess your suitability for the job you have applied for.

We will let you know if you are required to attend an assessment centre in advance and if you will be expected to prepare anything for the session.

To ensure that everyone has a fair opportunity to join our team, please inform us if you require any reasonable adjustments to our recruitment and interview process, by emailing: [email protected] as soon as you are invited to any stage of the interview process.

After accepting an offer, we will send you your contract, any forms you need to complete relating to your job, and your offer letter, all within 48 hours, through our online onboarding system.

All you need to do is read them carefully to make sure all the details are correct, and then complete/return the forms and accept your contract.

Naturally, there will be a few practical aspects to organise for when you start with us, such as your equipment. Our People Team will arrange a brief induction – usually on your first day – that covers all the important information you need for working for us. This is also another chance for you to ask any other questions about working here.

What is our selection process?

Depending on the role you’ve applied for, we could ask you to complete different assessments and/or interviews. As your application progresses, your People Attraction Specialist will be on hand to discuss the various stages with you.

Each application received will be reviewed by one of the People Attraction Team, evaluating against the skills and experience agreed with the hiring management team. Those that most closely match the pre-defined suitability criteria, will be shortlisted for management review and then progressing to an initial conversation with our People Attraction Team.

How does the interview process work?

Interviews are designed to measure the skills and behaviours required to do a job well. All candidates under consideration for a role are assessed against the same set of competencies, ensuring fairness.

Our interviews will be carried out by our People Attraction Specialist, Management Team and People Partner colleagues via telephone, video and face-to-face.

What happens at an assessment centre?

If you’re invited to an assessment centre, your People Attraction Specialist will let you know what to expect. Our assessment days will usually involve several different exercises for you to demonstrate many different skills.

What to wear?

Within our workplace, most people wear smart casual attire. However, interviewees usually dress in business-wear. This is just as important for a video interview as it is when meeting us face-to-face.

When will I hear the outcome?

We know you'll be keen to hear the outcome of your interview, and we'll aim to update you as soon as we can after the last interview has taken place.

What happens during the onboarding process?

Hopefully, following a successful interview process and been made an offer, you will want to join us. All communications will be made through our onboarding portal, linked to your application, ensuring this remain personal to yourself. You will be asked to upload, review and sign various documents/information to help our teams ensure you are set-up from day one.

Our dedicated onboarding team will be on hand to support you should you experience and challenges.
