I have been working for Tamdown for 3 years as a quantity surveying degree apprentice. I have been completing my degree at Anglia Ruskin University one day a week, and the other four days working for Tamdown. This has allowed me to use my knowledge that I have learnt at University alongside on-the-job experience. Everyone at Tamdown has been helpful and willing to give me their time to ensure that I learn and develop my knowledge. We have regular meetings to track my progress to make sure that I am covering all the different areas within the job roles.

I joined Tamdown self-employed in January 2020 as a Groundworker. Before this, I joined the company back in 2005 and since then my position has grown. In 2008/09 I was promoted to be a Foreman and in 2012 to Site Manager. I believe Tamdown are a great company with great people, and I say to the guys on my sites “Help each other, work as a team, be honest but most importantly be happy.
